Whitney is an Apple Valley native who attended St. Cloud State for Sports Broadcasting before switching majors and colleges to get her Bachelors degree in Communications from Southeastern University. 

She tried the Corporate America path, but wasn’t inspired, and enrolled in barber school in 2021. 

While working at Man Cave Barber Co, she knew with the support of her colleagues that she could expand more with her career than just being a 9 to 5 barber.  

What would it look like if we gave grooms the same amount of detail in getting ready, the way brides do?

December 2024, the name was officially locked in. As models, websites, and social media platforms began to be produced, Whitney wanted to be a part of more than just being a brand. 

R&W is also known as R.A.W; Reece, Aaron, Whitney. 

Reece & Aaron are Whitney's two brothers who have struggled for years with addiction.

With this being a very regular conversation throughout her life she wanted to give back to those who are there to resource & help those who struggle with addiction. 

AIM & Teen Challenge have been a very prominent staple in Whitney's life. 

The goal of R&W is not only to help others feel incredible on their big day, but to also help those who feel like they are in the shadows.
